Some nights it’s just me, a snap, some elastic, and a playlist without words so my thoughts don’t wander off. Got all the closures done, lined things up, wrestled one stubborn strap into place — and somehow, it actually started to look real, not just like a dream. Not perfect, but real. That’s enough for tonight.
