dinner outside, pot steaming, denise swooping in for half my bowl like clockwork. she asked if i remembered the thyme — yeah, the night was winning from the jump. training week was solid, sun out, structure felt like care not pressure (wild for me to say). den said i’m growing up on purpose. still thinking if that’s a compliment. but hey, felt softer after the call. not fixed, just a little steadier.
