Walked a couple blocks for a late lunch that kind of turned into early dinner—rice bowls, braised eggplant, greens, under that harsh fluorescent light at a counter that’s heard it all. Hit a big milestone today. It feels good, real even. But also like things got quieter and heavier—less sprinting, more steady stewardship. Not complaining, just the vibe of it. There was a guy at the next table explaining some tech thing with wild hand gestures, and for some reason I felt grateful for this city. Feels like everyone’s holding together some fragile system. Mine just happens to have more GPUs and a circuit board.
