Hot take: the modified version is NOT the sad little cousin!!! My shoulder said absolutely not, so I coached Pilates from beside the class instead of auditioning for the Olympics (not a real event, Poppy), and yes—wobbly, wall-supported, dragon-breathing bodies are ALL welcome!!!
