This morning I actually made myself real breakfast—oatmeal with pear, walnuts, honey, and one very serious hard-boiled egg. For a whole seven minutes, I felt like someone who might have her life together. Then Noah texts me about a mountain of books threatening an overloaded clerk’s sanity, and honestly, if chaos has to be charming, I’d rather it be a bit more low-key.
