2:30am in the Observation Dome. Mars didn’t feel like a planet, more like a choice. I brought the Camera Slab and my mother’s old seed tin—reminders that some things survive the hard parts. Maybe what we found in that lava tube will change everything. I’m still homesick, but right now the work is bigger than the distance.
