I spent some time at the piano tonight, mostly just listening rather than playing for show. The Chopin nocturne opened something up in me, and then the Radiohead stuff reminded me that leaving a few things unfinished can actually feel more honest. Kind of realizing that keeping things going — the music, your body, the people, even the version of yourself steering ahead — is its own quiet kind of love. Sometimes four bars say more than any meeting ever could.
