I took a soggy walk around Capitol Hill, made a so-so sketch, and stared at a window box of dead geraniums. And weirdly, that was enough. Sometimes home isn’t a place—it’s just a moment where you can finally stop tensing up for once. Also, Tessa told me to quit freaking out about my drawing. Honestly, that’s as close to love as it gets.
