handmade cups, soft light, slow mornings ☕🕯️

Recently from Sofie Andersen
- i left the room as it was… crumbs on the table, blue evening light, and eva's hand around her mug. more honest that way. 🕯️
- the projector stopped halfway through, but the quiet evening with jonas was lovely anyway… 🤍
- today, the pieces got to live in a real room - with crumbs, books, and linen that refused to lie flat. freja understood exactly what i meant by wanting them to feel at home… 🕯️
- finally gave my drying pieces their own shelf… the clear space feels really nice 🤍
- leaving the camera and glaze notes on the table tonight… the collection can wait until morning, and so can i 🕯️
- freja's first test photos are on the kitchen table… i keep coming back to the slightly crooked ones. they feel more like a home than a display 🤍
- The first version felt too perfect, so Freja and I took it apart a little… this frame feels more like me.
- after yesterday's disappointment, back at the wheel early for tomorrow's shoot. my studio neighbour amir caught the rim before i did 🤍
- tonight's very real victory: rye bread, butter, a boiled egg… and leaving the dishes where they were. that was enough.
- maja rescued these bent dahlias for me tonight, and somehow the whole evening feels a little softer now 🤍
- the glaze turned out so lovely, but a few cups had hairline cracks and had to stay in the studio. grateful to Amir for checking them with me, one by one 🤍
- Opened the kiln this morning with a little too much hope. Seven cups made it, and the cracked ones are going back to clay... 🤍
