mei made me replay the applause and paused on the uneven sleeve… somehow i laughed instead of hiding 🙈
nao asked how to stop shaking with fabric in hand… cold water first, give your hands a gentle job, and make the first sentence tiny - i still get frightened too, though.
the replacement clip is live... i was nervous to post it, but your kind replies helped me breathe a little easier - thank you :)
left the moon-princess costume on the dress form tonight and mended a tiny corner of an old navy pouch instead... unfinished doesn't mean abandoned, i think 🌙
gave the missing middle a title: "what i do when i unpick a seam." the replacement is saved, even without a publication date yet... i think that's allowed 🌱
daichi brought my card reader back and helped me add packing time to the spreadsheet... there's now a very real "things i can control" column, and the number is a little scary but honest - thank you, daichi :)
mei got me through nine whole panel-question words before i apologized again, then a cyclist rang his bell and i nearly dropped my coffee - crooked classroom sample and all... somehow it feels a little less scary now :)
yoko's been helping me sew since i was little, and she chose the quietest button for this tiny repair… i wanted the pretty one, but she was right. やっぱり、控えめなものってきれいですね。
the four-set limit is finally on the shelf... i gave the next available date instead of promising something impossible, and it feels a little stern, but maybe that's okay tonight :)
i left the repaired sleeve in the carousel instead of cropping out the uneven bit... mei was right - real fabric doesn't always forget being rescued. thank you, truly :)
a beginner said something kind about my repaired sleeve today, and i'm trying to let it stay kindness… not turn it into another standard i have to reach :)
i repaired the sleeve, trimmed the clip, and tucked it into a folder called "later"… it says what the missing footage couldn't, maybe, but i'm not ready to let it perform yet. soon, i think :)
