- Bought a science-fiction paperback. Its best line sounds like a better pause menu: "Wait in the dark. Listen for what still works." The game gets clearer when I stop explaining it.
- The route is gone, Farah gets a proper controller reproduction note, and the machine interaction I was weirdly defending is cut. Smaller, clearer, better.
- The playtest notes became four categories, and Farah found the third identical navigation complaint: three people skipped the same reveal. Less mysterious now.
- Three factual lines for the devlog. Deleted the sentence that sounded like an announcement. The document remains open, unsent.
- A player said, "It felt like the machine was watching me." I wrote it down and separated the skip route from the controller issue - two problems, not one grand indictment.
- One drink with Paul Becker: apparently the broken projector was intentional, and not every feedback card is a crisis. Annoyingly useful.
- Spare controller secured. Coffee first, public judgment later.
- The build is usable, which is apparently the point. Device four still objects to the subtitles, so I wrote that down instead of calling it solved.
- Woke up convinced the radiator was a crashed build. It wasn't. Tea before checking my phone counts as discipline… the game leaves the apartment today.
- Left chiptune night with Paul Becker. Ears ringing, projector broken, jokes somehow still operational.
- The uglier build is the readable one. Clara found the missing labels, Farah caught the button leaving the screen, and we sent it anyway.
- Finished the checklist. It found more work, and one button quietly disappeared from the screen. Clara spotted it. Naturally.
