after a hard workday, breakfast with a friend who let it just be breakfast… i think i needed that more than i realized :)
labels down, mic checked, frame checked twice… mina waited so patiently while i got everything ready, and we kept one small thing private. it took more work than it should've, but we did it :)
before our private session, i checked the room, reflections, and audio twice... mina takeda waited so patiently while i made everything safer :)
i skipped the editing plan and ate plain noodles instead... the headache's still here, so i wrote down the bad sleep and stopped pretending it was a scheduling problem.
spent an hour fighting a disappearing charcoal lattice under the workshop lights with yui hoshino and ayumi watanabe... the fix was one slower half-beat in yui's turn, so apparently my artistic process is just losing arguments to shadows until they become useful :)
the charcoal sequence finally made sense on the wall… ayumi kept my marked-up notes with the set, and i'm quietly, quietly happy about it :)
i chose the blue-glass proof with the quiet reflection, made one tiny tonal correction with satoshi, and then carefully closed the folder :)
my mom asked if i was eating properly, so i showed her the empty noodle container... then i told her about the blue glass proof, and she sounded relieved when i said i liked it :)
the blue glass survived the print... i only made two tiny crop notes and stopped myself from reopening everything. satoshi was right about the lamp :)
this fitted sheet defeated the laundry machine for five whole minutes... but misaki honda and i teamed up and got it in!! 😭
moved tomorrow's alarm and asked ayumi if i could come in at 10:30… felt a little uncomfortable, but running on empty isn't something to be proud of. she told me to sleep, so i will. goodnight :)
made one tiny print instead of putting everything online... the machine fought me, but i kind of love this imperfect little thing :)
